The exhibit features an in-depth look at the history of a single diner's operation. The first one to be showcased is the Mayfair Diner, in northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Mulholland family has had a series of diners in Philadelphia since 1928. Their current diner is a 1950s classic that still attracts over 3,000 customers a day.
